Saws,

- Since Botep had the conversation with you regarding the transfer, I can not speak to your experience or the delivery.
- For the record, we have also moved over Ralcoss and Antimugen on the same day. With no drama and complete understanding. Your sensitivity seems to be, therefore, unique.
- By your own admission, you were isolating yourself from us (for whatever reason). Since you agreed to the charter, you have confirmed that you understand that we are a very team based outfit.
- SIG3 members are very common in squad, but have the freedom to do their own thing to support us. Why you consider this a bad thing is interesting to me.

At this point no matter what I, or anyone says, you've decided to be hostile.

OK, I said it was last post, but Lemgars post is just to rich.

I was DISMISSED from 3GIS for the infractions/sins he has listed, told I could join SIG3....simple concept,

one of these things is not like the other.... with no warning/not the civility to "hey jerk, you need to show up".

I Do understand the situation, as much as you attempt to dance around the point. Lets keep this simple,

so all DO understand it, I was a member of 3GIS, told "your one of our more casual players", and told to

shift to SIG3. See, SIG3 ISN't the group I was in, I was TOLD TO LEAVE. No warning, nadda. This old fart

DOES understand, and YES, now I'm pissed.

In any event, bait/twist/do what you will, i no longer care. Let me be the shining example of how 3GIS treats it

errant members...or should I say former member.

I'm disgusted, I'm done.

Honestly, if Saws is struggling to understand why we asked him to move then no amount of notice period would have made a difference. He was not dismissed, as he put it, but simply asked to go to SIG3 as he has been more casual gaming as of late and playing solo a lot. In reality we have several 3GIS members that don't know him at all, and he doesn't know them either. This is a big fail as in this outfit everyone should know everyone (and their playstyle) so that they can support each other accordingly.

I've said before that transferring between 3GIS -> SIG3 -> 3GIS is simply a reflection of where your head is in this game and how much you want to be involved in the team. 3GIS is all about squad cohesion and working together. So if you are running solo more than with the team we'll likely ask you to move into SIG3.

My aim has always been to have the enemy respect us in game and to expect a very organized squad hitting them hard. If they see one 3GIS tag, they should know there are going to be many many more to follow By maintain the Oh-Shit-Syndrome we gain an upperhand in a fight.

We could work on our delivery, maybe? Did anyone put him on notice so to speak? Seems like he took it pretty hard. =(

Appreciate thoughtfulness Gal, if allowed/care to I'd play with you/group anytime, although it would

take invite as group isn't "open" often, and I wouldn't ask.

No hard feelings with anyone, be clear on that, I just don't care for the manner of dismissal, justified

or not. Doesn't make a wit of difference now for myself, but again I will say for some "future" sap,

maybe a word before you drop the hammer "would be nice".

My final post, if this thread/my post/s are clutter, feel free to remove.

Best to all.

Saws I have been trying to araxium my tank buster and generally diversify my skill set, having said that if you are ever looking for a ground pound buddy let me know and I will happily do that, in outfit or not. Your one of my old amigos man and I'd prefer you stay around in some fashion or another but if you need to do something else the door is still open.

Saws,

You're impression of second tier is incorrect, as I outlined in my previous post. It simply reflects expectations and current play style. Strumpets is probably one of the best medics in the game and lerrrroy is most certainly the best Gal pilot.

We have all been experiencing excessive ping times/lag in game. Although sounds like you may also have a local issue. Last week I regularly had a 500ms in game, last monday night it was 2000.

We've always encouraged our members to organize themselves. Even when we have air up (which is more common when numbers are low), we often have people on the ground working together.

I will answer that comment Lemgar.

First , there are nights i enjoy playing strictly sniper/whatever in a lone wolf fashion, true enough/guilty as charged.

But  I also have spent numerous nights where I enjoyed listening in TS to the group fly around as an air squad. That group

has a "preferred" gunner/ those they work well with, which makes sense, not a big deal. Me, I'm a ground trooper,

enjoy that challenge, so it was  nights of "play alone", listen to the chatter, all good. I go airborne, I'm usually dead

in a few seconds. My point, more often than not there ISN'T an organized team when I'm on, perhaps due to time zone/when

I'm on/dunno. When I see that group (air)on, as much as I like all of them, I usually just play till i see someone that might drive a

ground force on point.

There are also (many) evenings where i see pings anywhere

from 400-600 ping as of late, consistently that is. I have narrowed it down to the first hop on my IP providers

service from this island to the mainland. What "usually" is a 9ms journey, clocks 400-600ms ping, first hop.

Those nights I dont even bother/attempt to play with a group, frankly I am unable to even  track a target.

I also dont believe that anyone in Aegis would be correct in saying I dont  "stay-on point" when i do join in,

I make/made every effort to follow orders, which appears to be a point you are making in my regard. If i didnt

measure up in that discipline, apologies offered, i DID try, AND i enjoyed it.

The creation/need to shift me to second tier/whatever you want to call/brand it, didn't sit well.

One last point, then I'll step off the soap box Happy I believe I'm an active player..play this exclusively....maybe...

it might be an idea to speak to a member first...like" gee man, you havent been playing with us"...before kicking

them out/passing them on.

Saws,

Sorry to see you leave. I'm confused as to why you feel that way.

3GIS is all about team cohesion. We expect all members to be active, team players, and playing along side each other when they login, and to be in teamspeak. So those that login only occasionally, or those that do not regularly play along side us (be it ops or mid week), lack that cohesion that this outfit was founded on. So if you have the 3GIS tag on you, the exception on yourself and your team around you should be high.

SIG3 allows those people who want to join in the fun, but are unable or unwilling to stay-on-the-point™ to have their fun and assist us in critical rolls.  We have some excellent players in SIG3 (Leroy, Strumpets. Nightshade) who regularly play along side us. therefore, I dont consider anyone less of a player in SIG3, infact it's more of a bonus.

This is just a game, granted, but everyone in this outfit enjoys the teamwork of being in 3GIS and that is why they are here. It is unfair we we have double standards or favorites.

I was asked tonight to leave Aegis for the casual group. I think I will take that as a time to

simply leave. It's been fun, best to all.

PostPosted: Wed Feb 05, 2014 1:40 pm    Post subject: Inactivity Notice

As a matter of policy Aegis Initiative removes anyone who hasn't signed in to Planetside in 30 days and on the whole is not playing with us regularly. The removals are to make sure we have an active and dynamic member base and a firm knowledge of our actual fighting strength. If you are removed just get in touch with any Aegis officer about getting you back in upon your return if you are back to stay. If you have a special circumstance (military deployment, missionary trip, extended vacation. etc) please contact an officer or make a post on the forums.

On a personal level in addition to the administrative stuff we get concerned when we don't see our friends for long periods of time. Please feel free to drop us a line and let us know your good even if you have moved on to other things.
