Yes it's still on. Neyrlix may be taking charge as I may not be there on time.

Can I get some info on this?
I assume this is some kind of invite-only thing. I remember hearing something about it 2 or 3 weeks ago, but then nothing else.

Since the thread has started.....
I was approached by several members interested is doing more scrims on PTS. So in response, and to also keep my own personal interest in the game, I contacted a few members to see if they would be interested in participating in a 12 man SCRIM (not live) team On Wednesdays around 9-10pm est, but time may vary depending on who we scrim.
The following people expressed interest in helping me with my endeavors: Arche0s, qxzvp, electrokancho, LiceaNUC, ogatreV, AlainBadiou, Schrael, Prosium451, CuteBeaver, Nerylix, Seabhac, AunEl, Hyrax
The ironic twist of fate is that there is a possibility I wont be able to make this first scrim. C'est la vie.
Regarding participation. Yes this is a very competitive team and I wish to comprise it with our best players who can stay calm under pressure. I may even invite non-3GIS members some weeks to join in so that we can train along side them and raise our level of skill. At this stage I have no interest in entering a contest, but I do intend to make a team that could consistently beat the major outfits who do compete. To this end I want our team to be the best and for everyone to know it, but we're so good that entering a competition is futile. No doubt it will take a little maturing to reach that goal.

Thanks Lem. Sorry that I made sure this can of worms was properly open, but I couldn't remember details.

Where is tonight's scrim supposed to take place? Octagon I'm guessing?

All,
TIW have asked if we want to tray again next week, same time/day (wed 16th 9pm). They are also very frustrated with Pizzas lack of communication skills.
Considering we double handicapped ourselves, that second round we had was very very strong. I strongly suspect if we put a little time into practicing we can certainly hold our own.

Need to watch those conc nades guys, conc'd ourselves twice in the double decker. I don't know currently if I want to pursue PAL. The rules seem great for any game not like planetside 2 but not so good for this game. No motion spotter or recon darts are something that's at literally every single fight in this game, especially with a 3GIS infil around. It just seems to cut so much out of this game and really just turns it into CoD. I'll think about whether or not I want to participate in this or not and will let Lem know by Monday.

I will be able and willing to try it again. So far, these have been exercises in frustration. It's so different from our usual procedures, and I always feel like I'm two steps behind. TIW have drilled these places and always seem to be above or behind. This was made worse by the fact that they were spawning literally behind us the entire time, magically appearing where they shouldn't be.
I have a couple of suggestions/requests:
1. Can we not do this on Esamir? HS/NV is my go-to, for better or for worse.
2. Can we prep/practice beforehand, maybe with some intra-outfit scrimming?
3. Can we get a link to the rules in advance and/or have someone competent explain it to us?
4. I felt--to use Lem's words (I think)--like a chicken with its head cut off a large part of the time. I think that at some point, I actually ran in circles because I had no idea what to do; every exit from my location had some TIW person posted at a highly advantageous position. Many times I just ran to my death without any attempt to fire back. Could we find some way to determine what we should be doing at all times? I'm sure part of it just comes down to getting used to the format.

Hi Alain,
I can't help with points 1 or 2. Those are above my pay grade.
For 3, TIW gave us the rules in their TS afterward when some of us went over there. If anyone wants them, I have the links and can get them to you.
For 4, if you want to hit me up on TS sometime this week, I'll have a one on one with you, we can go hang out at the octagon and get you more familiar with how arena fights differ from regular PS2 and also some of the spots they seemed to prefer.
This offer is open to anyone, but really, I'd rather do this 1 on 1 rather than as a group exercise.
Edit for clarity: I don't mean 1v1 fighting, though that is an option if we feel it will help. I mean just walking around the map and discussing different things.
